Hey, Hey this is a fantastic couple and I was the lucky one to get to work with them!
Thanks Melissa and Ron, have a blessed life!

They were good sports when I asked to have a picture with them, although I think I regret not dressing up!

I love the picture under the gazebo with the waterfall in the background.

Don't they look great together?

I love this couple! They were so amazing to work with! Melissa and Ron in front of this black mustang, what fun!!

Alex and Yasmin Hagerty Wedding-June 13th 2009

Here are a few pictures of the Hagerty Wedding. Alex and Yasmin are the most gorgeous couple aren't they? I swear Yasmin looks just like Jasmin in the movie Aladdin and she has a sweet personality too! And then there's Alex, now what can you say......

Finally Done!!

Thought I would include a shot of the kitchen area, pretty neat.
How do you like the grape vine on the Pavilion? Russ has put two more corners of them up, one left to go.

Getting Ready for the Open House June 11th

Now the Painters, Phillip and Teresa Downey are caulking and painting the ceiling, will get picks when they are done later this week.

The Column's are done ...YEAH!

Putting the finish Coat on the last of the 16 Column's.......what a hard working man!

This is the finished Column, isn't it pretty? I am soooo lucky to have a talented husband!

We hired 3 young men from the "Rent a Jock" program at Moses Lake High School. They really helped out a lot...they raked dirt all around the pavilion and helped move a concrete picnic table and 2 benches into their final resting place. Good Job to (L-R) Chris Perez JR, Brian Chamberlain and Ivan Garcia.

Things are looking up!!

The roof is on, the roof is on, YEAH!!!!
I'm so excited to finally see the project taking shape. The roof is on and I am so happy with the color I chose. It's suppose to look rusted, I chose this so it would fit in with my other metal works of art on the property.
The awesome electrician (Chuck Osborne and John)that put all of my lights in and I had my electrical inspection today, so the ceiling goes up tomorrow. We are also working on the concrete columns and should have one done by this weekend. I'll keep you posted.

Two new arrivals

I forgot to tell you all the most exciting news! We got a pair of trumpet Swans. They are 7 years old and will really give the weddings that elegant feel. I have named them Romeo and Juliet. They already give the pond a regal air to it.
I'll get better pic's later, they are just getting settled in.

The Building has begun!

Wow...things are starting to progress and it's very exciting.
I talked my awesome husband into hiring a contractor to finish the job....I didn't get too much of a fight on that one. We hired Mike Luhr and crew extraordinaire, now here's the thing, I went to school with Mike and we graduated together, so the moral to this is..... be careful who you are nice to in school, they may be your contractor some day! Will post more pic's tomorrow as the trusses will be up....fingers crossed!

WOW!!!! I can't believe this is Happening!

My very hard working husband along with having a real job has formed up the 16 columns and has poured the concrete! This could not have been accomplished with out the help of the second most important man in my life, my son Tyson and also my son in-law extraordinaire Troy! I'm so excited to see the building going up. Next week the trusses will be delivered along with the roofing.

Ok, so we are now in the throws of full construction! My awesome husband has been digging the huge holes for the footings and is right now building the concrete forms that will make the columns. My husband piled the dirt on the concrete slab so as not to kill the grass. I know it doesn't look like much right now but it is a huge mess!! Stay tuned and I'll load more pictures as the pavillion progresses.

Hi everyone,

I'm going to turn over a new leaf, yes I am going to make a huge effort to blog on a regular basis. What's new....I had a booth at the Moses Lake Bridal Show yesterday. My booth was between J. Keele Photography (formally Ahman's) and Hair, a new beauty salon at the south end of town. It was really great to get to know Rhonda Chase, the owner of Hair, she is a fantastic addition to Moses Lake. I am particularly excited to have a hair dress that is interested in working with Brides and the whole bridal party and will travel to venue to accommodate the Wedding Party! Dale Roth was the entertainer extraordinaire! Good job Dale! Bryan and Kristy Johnson were there offering their outstanding DJ services which many people were very impressed with, way to go Bryan and Kristy! My cutie pie Smokehouse Grill Gal, Darla Meise was cookin' up mouth watering BBQ, Yum O! All and all it was a fun time. I was able to book a couple of more dates and that was a wonderful surprise. I'm so excited for this new season, I have so many really fun couples that I get to work with and I can't wait!!!

OH, before I forget, we (my husband and myself) are in the process of constructing a pavillion over the 60x40 foot slab of concrete. No more tents....YEAH!!! I am so excited about this pavillion and can't wait to see it go up. I think it will be a beautiful addition to the property and I hope the Brides like it too.....

Until next time.
